On February 25, 2019, Mr. Perry Shaw III, the Executive Director of A Better Way, Inc., was recognized for his uncommon entrepreneurism. The award was announced during a special Black History Month celebration in the New Jersey General Assembly with Mr. Perry Shaw Jr. and Mr. Jan Stokes alongside him on the Assembly floor. The honor wrote that “within all the spheres of his life and work, Perry L. Shaw III has established a model to emulate and set a standard of excellence toward which others might strive.” Every day at A Better Way, Inc. we experience the determination of Mr. Perry Shaw III, so we were ecstatic to see the state has chosen him as an honoree today!
